Focus, an essential ingredient for success

In this information age we are overwhelmed with information from different sources like media, Internet etc.
Some time we miss interprete  information as knowledge.
Let's say a software engineering student is surfing the Internet and get information a how many languages and tools out there but if he is not focused on one subject he will keep lurking around and would not be able to gain any knowledge about the subject. All he ended up with some information about several topics which he can use during conversation to impress his or her pears with he wouldn't have any real knowledge to use or implements that subject
So always surf the Internet with some concrete subject and try to gain some knowledge instead of random information and this is only possible when you are focused and know your subject
